I posted a bulletin about this before, but I am going to say it again: I miss playing in a band.
Writing music by yourself is fun, and nice, but it doesn't compare to that of creating something with others, like we did before. Originally, our music was just fun, typical political punk rock, but by the end, at our last show, the music was so different. It was more than just songs, it was an expression, and the music had depth, because of the closeness of us as a band.
You could hear us, as close friends, in the music, and what the music meant to us when we played it.
I miss that feeling, and that creative joy.

I am going to post on this, and on other stuff right now, for no reason. So here goes.

For the second time, I took one of those personality tests (you know, the INTJ-result-giving-types), and I got a completely different answer to the one I got before. It was no more, or less, accurate, but not the same.

This time, however, I got ESTJ, which is,
Extraverted (E) 50% Introverted (I) 50%
Sensing (S) 50% Intuitive (N) 50%
Thinking (T) 50% Feeling (F) 50%
Judging (J) 50% Perceiving (P) 50%

...just dynamite, innit. Although, 50% for all!? What!?

But okay, so anyway, whilst reading through the results of what it means to be a "ESTJ", it mentioned this,

...Wait, holy shit I just realized I read the wrong one.
Well, anyway, the other one reminded me of something I did, which was sometimes to forget to write to old friends, or keep in contact, yet keep with new ones.
Half true. But also totally wrong, and totally right.  I keep in contact with some, and some of my best friends I've known since year 8. I suppose thats only 4 years ago though, isn't it?

Anyway, now that I read the right one, I realize its total shit. Take this for example,

"ESTJs thrive on order and continuity. Being extraverted, their focus involves organization of people, which translates into supervision. While ENTJs enjoy organizing and mobilizing people according to their own theories and tactically based agendas, ESTJs are content to enforce "the rules," often dictated by tradition or handed down from a higher authority."

Rubbish.
I'm an anarchist, for one.
I am also disorganized alot of the time. I like to sit, and drink tea, and procrastinate.
Whatever.
I hate these online quizzes.

Anyway, moving on, this evening, I had work, as I do. We just have had new systems installed which are an absolute pain in the ass, and complicated, and for some reason, they decided to bring them in at the busiest time since I've been there - when Sex and the City came out.
Why?!
Never the less, ice cream was had, milkshakes were drunk, fingers were cut, popcorn was stolen, gummi bears shoved into pockets, and an almost all round jovial time was had (except the finger cutting).

And now, I am home. This journal post is inane.

One last thing, I got a new cardigan. Score.

Ciao for now,
Nick.

These are some buildings me and my friends have squatted or explored.

This is my friend in the main living room on the top floor. The graffiti on the walls was there when we got there.

It was, however, much more beautiful at night, when it was lit by candle light, and by the street lights outside. I think just about everything is, though.

I might have a slight thing for that window. >.<

Next building: This one used to be a brothel/Karoke bar, but was abandoned almost exactly one year after we "broke in". There was a diary inside written by the owner, mainly full of shit (how many people came in, doodles, etc), but it also a description of everything that had happened on the last day. The entire building was left exactly the same. No one had been in, or out, since, except for some birds and some stones.
Anyway, so funny story, we chilled out in here for a while, we brought bread, lemonade, and vegetables (Which we'd convienantly dumpstered before whilst riding over), and had a sort of picnic in the building. After a while (a good few hours, we went out, and came back), we heard a radio outside. My friend looked out the window and there was a police car there. Both of us freaked out, and decided to try and escape out the back (as you do). Upon our calm exiting of the building, two police officers were walking up the stairs at the back. Realizing that we weren't a robbers or terrorists, they decided not to pull their guns on us, but said, "If we had of met you in there, we would've pulled our guns out on you". So, basically, our shenanigans managed to muster up the entire North Sydney police force (who were on duty) to the building as they thought we were carrying out a robbery.
Hard to rob an abandoned building (Although, we did steal some microphones from there - they didn't work). Although (again, there were so many dresses, high heeled shoes, and other things - but obviously they weren't worried about that.
And that's the story. Now here are the photographs.

I forgot to mention, there was a fire in the building, and because it was a brothel (illegal, I gather) everyone panicked and ran.

This is my friend, from the underground entrance...
'
...which leads into a winding stair case...

At the top of the stair case is where the fire took place. Weirdly enough, it was in the shower.

This is the bar. There wasn't much liquer left unfortunately. It's okay, my friend was straight edge anyway. :)

All the keys and names were here.

This is us on the roof top. I look strange abd tiybg, but I still love this picture.

I'll post more later.

Au revoir!

I'm just going to put it out there, the Orphanage was fucking creepy.
I don't think I've ever ever screamed in a movie before, but I did in that one. Normally, I keep to jumps, and "Oo's"  and clinging on the person next to me. But this worth of all three.

First Journal. Huzzah.
